Ten years on, the Yezidi community remain deeply frustrated & apprehensive about the lack of concerted efforts to find 1000s still missing, the seemingly diminishing prospects for accountability, and the rise in hate speech and threats of violence against the Yezidi community.

I’m grateful for Amnesty International and Open Society Foundations’s work to bring attention to the past and ongoing human rights violations in Ethiopia by sharing their “Remember Tigray” Virtual Reality experience with Congress. We'll continue to work toward long-term stability and justice in Ethiopia.
