Nebbi District has received 331 heifers from Office of the Prime Minister - Uganda under Restocking Programme. The RDC Omara Christopher advised the beneficiaries to take good care of the animals to improve their household income and livelihood. Each of the 51 parishes on average got six heifers.

Nebbi District has received two tractors from Government through NAADS. The tractors that were given to Nyaravur SACCO and Nebbi Area Cooperative were handed over by the District Chairperson Urombi Emmanuel and RDC Omara Christopher.

Nebbi District gets UGX 300 under the Youth empowerment and engagement in local governance project funded by Democratic Governance Facility (DGF). The project is among others intended to improve youth inclusion and engagement in decision-making processes.

Nebbi District has reoriented and sensitized Leaders on social mobilization for Ebola as part of the risk communication for preparedness against the disease in the District. This follows reported cases in the neighboring Democratic Republic of Congo.
