We've seen the benefits of community solar directly from thousands of residents in 7 states. This year we reached $6 Million dollars in savings for residents on their electricity costs and over 400,000 Metric Tons of CO2 prevented by the energy generated by local solar farms.

Happy Independence Day! Today, we also celebrate those who are reducing their energy dependence from monopoly utilities by being subscribed to a local solar farm or having solar panels on their roof. Have a safe and fun holiday with your loved ones.

Traditional rooftop solar is a great idea, except for the 80% of residents who rent or live in condos, those surrounded by trees and those who simply can't install panels. If that's your case, there is a way for you to support clean energy and save some money on electricity.

We're so excited for all Colorado residents who subscribed to the Griffiths 2 Solar Farm. They will soon start getting credits on their Xcel bill and paying them back with a 10% discount. These credits will help them support solar energy and save one monthly bill every year!

65 million Americans will see massive increases in electricity rates starting in summer 2025 and rules that keep new clean energy from being built are largely to blame. Yet another reason to subscribe Community Solar!

Community Solar is often mistaken with third-party energy. There are lots of predatory practices employed in the that energy space, so we asked expert Laurel Peltier to help us create a chart to show the differences between community solar, rooftop solar, and third-party energy.

Best wishes from the Neighborhood Sun team! Thanks for your support. You are key to the clean energy transition and the fight against big oil corporations and climate change. Your voice matters. Your choice matters. The source of the energy on the grid really matters!
