What a week! Fabulous fieldwork in Chamonix with the best team, “They came in search of buried ice”!

Travelled to Aberystwyth University yesterday to meet with Amanda Jones and her brilliant team- nurturing the education of nursing students with life skills to be both excellent nurses and citizens- impressive👏🏽

Met with the students and lecturers curating green spaces to combat community social isolation, support community cohesion and encourage a space for student well being!

Today marks my last day as one of the University’s Pro Vice-Chancellors. This has been a great role and I have enjoyed it immensely; full of challenges and surprises. But to be clear this is not retirement! Now it is time to get back to teaching and research!
