Pupils in the Japanese club learned about New Year Traditions today and had a go at designing their own Nengajo (seasonal greetings cards). The Japanese club had a fantastic, mid-holiday trip to Glasgow today to see Miyazaki's new film, 'The Boy and the Heron', and enjoy a delicious Japanese meal at Wagamama. The Japanese Club have been busily writing articles and reviews for all parts of our day out in Glasgow over the Christmas holidays, including the film, the meal, and Tokyo Toys. Perhaps these could feature in an upcoming issue of the Raven misstomelty? 😁 Irvine Royal Academy

As a task for our 'Mononoke' film unit, my new S3 designed their own gods and demons of nature, emotions and concepts relevant to the film such as industrialisation.
