Hiya everyone. I’ve written this book. It’s a speculative, dystopian dark-comedy, although whether it’s funny or not is up for debate. Anyway, it’s out on 25th august. I haven’t got a preorder set up or anything yet so message if you want one. Mint artwork by Oli Heffernan.

Oli who did the artwork told me off for using the wrong picture when I was on about my book the other day. This is the one I was supposed to use. Pretty innit? let us know if any of yous want one.

Nel Unlit playing Stockton International Riverside Festival (SIRF) .....Nel Unlit

It was an absolute pleasure to warm the room up for my friends Nel Unlit and Benjamin Amos at Middlesbrough Little Theatre (MLT) at the weekend. What a welcoming crowd, what a great town. Had me buoyant all the way back down the A1.

I've wanted to get this album for ages & then I went to see Nel Unlit on Sunday & I did. It's every bit as good as I thought it would be: I love it when artists take risks & follow their own path.

Meet: This Machine Fries Implants. They are the band from my book so they are from the future and they are make-believe but their CD will be hidden in your copy of my book. (No they aren’t wearing white overalls, silly. You’ll see their clothes when you get your implant fitted.)
