Wednesday night saw 3 CFRs on duty providing cover to our communities. The team were deployed to 5 emergency calls during their shift supporting the East Midlands Ambulance Service at each one.

Thursday was Paul’s second night in a row giving up his free time to volunteer. Crewed with Katie they were ready and available to be deployed by East Midlands Ambulance Service to the most critically unwell patients in our local area. buff.ly/EOaYKBm

A sunny Friday morning saw Bob and Anita crewed up supporting East Midlands Ambulance Service across Wellingborough and Rushden. Here they are making the most of the sunshine recharging the all-electric CFR car. buff.ly/EOaYKBm

On Friday evening we hosted our monthly training session. The team were put through their paces with complex and demanding CPR training. They faced some challenging scenarios. 2 responders were also available to attend the most serious Category 1 emergencies in the local area.

Unfortunately, a critical piece of kit has gone missing from outside Avenue Care home in Rushden It is a Lifepak CR2 Defribillator and could be a life saver if someone needs it If you know of its whereabouts, or know if someone has used it, please do let us know! Many thanks!

We’re incredibly grateful to Councillor Paul Bell for generously funding our new defibrillator. This vital piece of equipment could one day save a life, and thanks to his support, another of our responders now has access to the latest equipment. Your support is truly appreciated

Bob and Anita have been out and about all day, logged on and ready to respond. They are able to respond quickly to life threatening emergencies as well as see sick and injured patients in our community. If you seek them, do give them a wave 👋🏻

Rocialle and Connor have been out today providing CFR support in and around Wellingborough. They have seen 5 patients in the local community arriving ahead of and ambulance crew to start patient care.
