Yesterday we finished the day with a chocolately celebration for the top 15% in the academy. We are incredibly proud of the determination and resilience shown by our scholars. The empty seats at the front were filled with Y11 who went back to lessons! #EveryMinuteMatters #Astrea

The scholars have shown a tremendous amount of kindness and gratitude this week, writing Teacher Appreciation cards in their own time to say thank you to the staff. These will undoubtedly bring a lot of joy as we approach the final half term of the academic year. #Astrea

Wombwell Park shutters on the pavilion have had a make-over. With themes of 'the 4 seasons' and 'Love Where You Live' the team of y8 scholars added a splash of colour to the previously dull, grey shutters. The students all worked extremely hard & what a result! #community
