Had a lot of fun writing this review with Lukas Oesch and Anne Churchland. Check it out to learn more about recent innovations in "natural" and trained behaviors + how we can keep making progress in the future!

Got together with Kevin Mastro 🏳️🌈 & Michael Ryan from the Simons Collab on Plasticity and the Aging Brain to discuss #healthyaging. We take a multi-level approach to understand how brains age in the absence of disease. In this sense, aging can be an example of active remodeling rather than degeneration.

Had such a fantastic evening with Anne Churchland and Gina Poe to celebrate our 1st annual Pride Month seminar hosting the exceptional Jun Ding. Thank you to Brain Research Institute for establishing this platform to raise up LGBTQ+ voices in neuroscience! 🧠🏳️🌈🔬

Really proud of this work with Ally Girasole and Alexandra Nelson, as well as Chip Gerfen and Tom Hnasko, digging into the cellular and synaptic differences in striatal direct pathway neurons involved in levodopa-induced dyskinesia. Check it out: cell.com/cell-reports/f…

Seeking a postdoctoral scientist with expertise/interest in electrophysiology, circuit interrogation, and/or mouse behavior to study basal ganglia circuit function. Extensive training and mentorship. Competitive salary/relocation. Please apply to: [email protected]

At #SfN24 and interested in chronic neuropixels: we prepared “starter kits” for our chronic fixture: 𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙚! Go by Maxwell D. Melin ‘s poster Monday morning (Z25) and get one with all you need to get a probe implanted before the dinner time!
