On Sunday 19th January our members, friends and family gathered to welcome in our new captains for 2025. In 2024 a grand total of £25,849 was raised for @PickeringCancer and Taylor-Made Dreams Our chosen charities for 2025 are Pickering Cancer once again and Age UK Tunbridge Wells

The Social Committee kicked off 2025 with a successful wine tasting event on Friday evening hosted by Rob Gordon. The event, attended by 32 members, along with friends and family, proved to be a fantastic evening filled with great conversation, delicious food, and fine wine.

Charity Bridge - Wednesday 5th March On a lovely spring afternoon at the Nevill 54 players enjoyed a fabulous tea prepared by the ladies section with prizes. The raffle and entry fees raised around £800 for the 2025 Captains charities Pickering Cancer and Age UK Tunbridge Wells

We had brilliant ‘All Nations’ day at the Nevill on Sunday 23rd March. The competition was won by the Scotland team. The prizes for best individual stableford scores were won by Jonathan Bishop (44) for the Men and by Sandra Sansom (39) for the Ladies.

Our Ladies Marjorie Wilkinson Cup stableford competition was held earlier today. Congratulations to the winner Colleen Alton with 38 points. We also raised approx. £350 for Macmillan Cancer Support with our homemade cakes and entry fees.

On Thursday 17th April, we had a fantastic turnout for our Divot Evening with 60 members, friends, and family coming together to help repair divots, drainage channels and tee boxes across the course. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone for their support!

Over 100 guests enjoyed our Summer Ball on Saturday 28th June. After welcome drinks, there was live music from Annouska, a delicious 5-course meal by Sean, Pedro & team, a hilarious after-dinner speech from Ian Irving, and dancing until midnight – it was a fantastic evening!

Over 90 players took part in our annual Men’s Captain & Vice Captain’s Day Stableford event yesterday in glorious sunshine. Congratulations to the winners - David Speed the Captain’s Prize with 45 points and to Steve Mellor the Vice Captain’s Prize with 43 points.
