Frustrating morning trying to provide Gov with info they want, going round in circles, followed by a bit of bookkeeping - the less discussed/ publicised aspect of running a family farm. #Farm24

This would have been so satisfying to watch! But on a serious note, insurance is mentioned at the end, I recently had to point out to our local councillor, that altho we have insurance, you can't possibly claim when you are getting frequent crop damage from vehicles in fields.

Not end of story, You can add to that British fruit and veg and of course wheat, tho for some reason this rarely gets a look in for the buy British campaigns.

Our local labour MP Stephanie Peacock MP posts are full of meetings she's having with all different people in culture, media, & sport (her remit), yet not one mention of meeting farmers from Steve Reed, perhaps the bosses didn't know he'd slipped up and spoken to a farmer.

Come on farmers, we need to back this. If there is a genuine argument for refusing to consider alternative approaches on IHT, I want to know what it is.

Note how they include pictures of sheep and beautiful landscapes, yet farming (that provided these beaucollic landscapes which are presumably included to make us feel good about our country) doesn't get a mention.
