We are back ... in the building! After almost a year of greeting park visitors and answering questions at an outside contact station, we are finally back in the visitor center. No joke, the Canyon Rim Visitor Center is now open 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week.

PARK ALERT: Fayette Station Road will be closed to vehicle traffic during a 10K race event on Saturday, May 15th from 6:00 am - 10:00 am. The closure will be from the Lansing Loop and Fayette Station Rd. intersection to the intersection of Fayette Station Rd. and Rt 19.

PARK ALERT: CSX will be working on the railroad crossing at Thurmond on Tuesday, June 1st. Pedestrians access will be permitted, however, there will no vehicle access across the tracks until 9:00 pm tonight. You may still visit the Thurmond Depot and walk downtown.
