I never imagined in my life that we would reach this level of pain and oppression. Since childhood, all of Gaza has carried the burden that our name is always tied to tragedy. So we tried hard to hold on to life, as if we were the most deserving of it

We traveled, we learned, we loved, we listened to music. We stole joy from the mouth of the world and fed it to our dreams so they would grow, little by little...

Our dreams grew to the point where they became too heavy for us to carry, too hard to even speak of, let alone keep alive. Will life ever return? Who will kill the people first the cold or their assassinated dreams?
