I had the honor of being this young man’s principal when he was a 6th grader and I was a 1st yr principal. I was thrilled to run into him, and see him still excelling, on the campus of Tennessee State University while recruiting the NextGen Future black engineering Innovators.

Years ago I hosted students from Tanzania. They lived with my students, met Andrew Young, ate at The Varsity, and we visited Morehouse. Today I presented at Morehouse and in the crowd was a former student who hosted. He said that visit made him choose Morehouse! #exposure

We had a great time with the students and staff Scottsboro Jr. High on Thursday. Thank you to U.S. Army DEVCOM for partnering with us FirePoint Innovations Center to bring the #WBIB program to schools. The future of engineering starts here. #dronetechnology

While at #nsbe50 with my Future Innovators I ran into some former Global Impact Academy students. These guys are headed to Ga Tech in the fall and are headed to great things in life. Can’t wait to follow their journey.
