Very proud that parkrun 🌳 can play a part in getting people active across Wales, and honoured to collaborate with Welsh Athletics We’ve come too far to simply stand by whilst opportunities to be active, outdoors, and social are removed right when they are most needed ⬇️

🚨CANCELLATION of Newport parkrun, 25th December until further notice 🚨 Due to the recent COVID restrictions, we have been asked to cancel Newport parkrun from Christmas Day and onwards for the (hopefully) short-term, for the safety of our volunteers and participants.

We are delighted that restrictions in Wales are being lifted allowing parkrun to resume. Given the short notice and the need to obtain commitment of volunteers it’s likely that some will restart on 22nd January. Please check the website of your local event before travelling.

Just to clarify, we will be returning on 22nd January! We do need a full volunteer roster if we’re to return on this date… please email us on [email protected] to be added to the roster 👍
