NHS Jazz Ensemble 1 in a clinic after their performance at the 2025 WSU Jazz Invitational. The band earned straight 1 ratings and "Outstanding Musicianship" awards were given to Oliver S, Jacob A, and Nic B.

The annual Newton USD 373 All-District Band Concert will be in Ravenscroft Gym at Newton High School at 3:00 p.m. this Sunday, May 4. Band students in grades 5-12 will celebrate Star Wars Day (May the FOURTH Be With You) with lots of music from the films.
