1/2 We just want to take a moment to say "Thank You". Nearly every regular I've spoken to has asked if they can help keep Nexus alive and it's made me quite teary-eyed! Nexus is home for us, and we're so moved to hear that you think of it in the same way...

1/3 From today onwards, Nexus has taken the difficult decision of temporarily closing for the safety of our team, customers, friends & families. As such, all events, exhibitions, meetings and bookings at Nexus will be off or rescheduled until we are able to reopen...

2/3 This was a really difficult decision for us to make, we've always tried to be a friendly and safe space for people to enjoy and spend time in. But, given the situation, we're unable to do these things and so want to do what is safest for those around us during this time...

3/3 Updates will be on here for when we can reopen and we will continue to look after our staff as best we can! A donation page will be up shortly for those who would like to do their bit to support us over this difficult period. Please stay safe and look after each other! X

1/3 We sadly closed Nexus last week due to the Corona pandemic. Nexus is much more than just a cafe. It's a home space, a place where people can be themselves, and a place that has supported so many artists and charities over the years..

2/3 We want to make sure that it's still there when the current crisis has passed. Even with the government paying 80% of wages, without income we won't be able to maintain that forever. We are a not for profit, so our reserves are minimal and this has left us in a tight spot.
