Excited to share that our work on open-channel metal particle superlattices is finally out in nature! We show a new way of building porous crystals with highly tunable pore size and topology. Northwestern NorthwesternResearch nature.com/articles/s4158…

Step Up to STEM students participated in an outreach event at Duke University March 4th. Thanks to Xiaoyue Ni,Duke Engineering,DukeMEMS, FIP,Boyuan Chen for hosting! The event highlighted uses of robotic materials, human-centered materials intelligence, optics,& photonics

Check out this recent paper from our group in collaboration with @NblOsu and Michael Poirier, where we introduce rotor lattices, which are capable of undergoing beautiful order-disorder transitions, and can importantly be realized with DNA nanotechnology. pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art….

Our work published in Science Advances presents origami-inspired strain sensors with large stretchability, small hysteresis, and fast response, which could be useful for measuring large and complex deformations of soft bodies. USC Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering USC BME science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…

Excited to be at #2023SES, catching up with friends and ready to share our latest research this Wed! Society of Engineering Science
