Today marks the final day of delivering Professional Learning Experiences Clusters to Home Economics teachers across the country. Thank you to all who engaged, it has been fantastic sharing with and learning from fantastic teachers, schools are in good hands!

Last week I had the opportunity to facilitate online Professional Learning Events to over 120 of my Oide colleagues. The session focused on our role as educators at both primary and post-primary level in supporting LGBTQ+ students, inclusive pedagogy and our use of language.

I was delighted to facilitate alongside my Oide colleagues a session focusing on using digital technologies to foster inclusion in the Home Economics classroom. We engaged with over 110 Home Economics teachers nationally considering the diversity of students in our classrooms.

Reflecting back on my first year as a PLL with Oide, I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with Home Economics teachers around the country and share my Master's and present PhD research. Time to recharge before the next academic year begins in August!
