The idea that sections of the media are only now turning against the Tories and towards Reform are naive. They turned towards Reform some time ago. The hacks have known the Tories are dead for a while now, it’s been blatantly obvious.

This is so far from possibly happening, it’s like a piece of science fiction. The paranoia of the Brexiters is always something to behold.

Absolutely wild that Reform are doing two things associated with 20th century left: party and cadre building, and having physically rooted space. The left talks about the SPD and PCI doing this stuff historically…Farage is doing it… spectator.co.uk/article/reform…

Being centre-right and anti-Brexit at the same time just blows people’s minds in 2025. Like, it is unfathomable to them. So weird.

I don’t get how people can see stuff like this and say “wokeness is just being kind, or just something right-wingers made up”. This is an outlook. It’s an ideology. And it’s terrible.

I really hate the term “betraying Brexit”. It’s not a family member. If it was functional, Brexit couldn’t be betrayed in any meaningful sense after it had taken place. It’s part of what makes Brexitism so weird to me.

Heartened to see the major European military powers finally get serious with Putin. Agree to an immediate ceasefire or the sanctions go up and weapons flow to Ukraine. This is a war the west must win - it is existential.

Nick Tyrone (@nicholastyrone) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Yes, because all we have left after Trump 2.0 is a "poor man's NATO". The west has to make do with what it can after America has decided it doesn't want to be part of the west any longer.

Of course the next general election will be Labour vs Reform - Starmer is absolutely right on that. The Lib Dems and SNP will each have their patches and the Tories will be obliterated. It’s obvious.

Nick Tyrone (@nicholastyrone) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I find the whole “Starmer is a coke head” bullshit highly fascinating as a strategy. Are his political enemies actually colluding to make Starmer seem way more interesting than he is? Interesting tactic, bellends.

Nick Tyrone (@nicholastyrone) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Perhaps I am being overly cynical here, but it seems like Starmer is just the latest prime minister to make big promises on immigration that will not be kept. This will then lead to Farage as PM, when Reform will face the exact same problem. Repeat.

The Macron does coke on a train conspiracy theory has surpassed all others and become the dumbest conspiracy theory on this site. Congratulations all.

Even more political space just opened up for the Lib Dems. Be interesting to see if they can fill it, or if they just walk on by like they normally do.

I’m certain, the average ethnic minority Brit, thinks nearly 1M net migration in one year is too much. It’s disappointing we can’t have a sensible conversation without extremists on the left saying, let anyone in, and extremists on the right saying, let no one in. Here we see the
