The Express unconsciously admitting that Brexit was a mistake here.

The idea that sections of the media are only now turning against the Tories and towards Reform are naive. They turned towards Reform some time ago. The hacks have known the Tories are dead for a while now, it’s been blatantly obvious.

This is so far from possibly happening, it’s like a piece of science fiction. The paranoia of the Brexiters is always something to behold.

Being centre-right and anti-Brexit at the same time just blows people’s minds in 2025. Like, it is unfathomable to them. So weird.

I really hate the term “betraying Brexit”. It’s not a family member. If it was functional, Brexit couldn’t be betrayed in any meaningful sense after it had taken place. It’s part of what makes Brexitism so weird to me.

Heartened to see the major European military powers finally get serious with Putin. Agree to an immediate ceasefire or the sanctions go up and weapons flow to Ukraine. This is a war the west must win - it is existential.

Yes, because all we have left after Trump 2.0 is a "poor man's NATO". The west has to make do with what it can after America has decided it doesn't want to be part of the west any longer.

Of course the next general election will be Labour vs Reform - Starmer is absolutely right on that. The Lib Dems and SNP will each have their patches and the Tories will be obliterated. It’s obvious.

I find the whole “Starmer is a coke head” bullshit highly fascinating as a strategy. Are his political enemies actually colluding to make Starmer seem way more interesting than he is? Interesting tactic, bellends.

Perhaps I am being overly cynical here, but it seems like Starmer is just the latest prime minister to make big promises on immigration that will not be kept. This will then lead to Farage as PM, when Reform will face the exact same problem. Repeat.
