This is my favorite image I've ever taken: an Arabidopsis floral meristem that I genetically rewired to produce endless whorls of pink petals. Flowers follow rules and those rules can be rewritten 🧬

After 6 great years in Switzerland, I’m setting sail for new adventures ⛵️ Sad to see my bench lose its magic, but excited for what’s next. Stay tuned!
