Finished up a pretty amazing bathymetric survey with @WaterSHEDLab last week. Seeing all those features appearing in real-time is one of the most satisfying parts of the job.

Finishing up a 2 week field campaign multibeaming 375km of the Fraser River. Truly an amazing experience in a beautiful part of this world. Big thanks to Jeremy Venditti for having me along!

In 2018, the Big Bar landslide blocked the Fraser River and put salmon at risk. SFU School of Environmental Science researchers are part of a project looking at how landslides threaten salmon and what can be done to prevent future disasters. Read more at: ow.ly/wWVI50J6wRt
