Good to see more information on these new drugs. Some are much more potent than their predecessors and carry a higher risk of accidental overdose and death. This helps people to understand the risk they may be taking.

There can be no doubt that nitazenes are circulating in Scotland. All healthcare workers who may encounter someone using these potent drugs need to remember that more than one dose of naloxone will be needed.
