The 4th DS-I Africa consortium meeting officially kicked off today in Mauritius. We will meet all week to discuss the technology, ethics and discoveries from the application of data science for health in Africa. In the opening panel all but 1 of the speakers are female :-)

The African Society for Human Genetics meeting is underway in Uganda with 400 participants, and a great line up of speakers and sessions. We are hearing of the great strides made in developing genomics capacity in Africa, but more data and training are needed! #AFSHG2025
