Sinn Féin called this right from the start. Total incompetence from Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. If they had got their way they would have cost you €13bn in taxes due. To make matters worse they went to extreme lengths to fight this case costing Irish taxpayers millions more.

If we are serious about giving every child a fair start, then we must act now. The upcoming #Budget2025 must include a substantial increase in funding for schools, with a clear focus on reducing class sizes, improving infrastructure, and giving our teachers the support they need.

📢 Ireland's Childcare Crisis: It's Time for Change 📢 No parent should have to pay more than €10 a day for childcare. We need to expand childcare places, increase wages for workers, and make sure every family has access to affordable, quality care. #ChildCare4All

They are laughing at us because they think we are all fools in their game. Change is now. Don’t mistake the fire, for the dawn #smokeandmirrors #Budget2025

The €1,000 reduction in 3rd level education fees is welcome, the challenges lie elsewhere. Students pay an average of €700pm for a room in a shared house, a public transport system that fails to meet the needs of rural Ireland, the cost of education remains a heavy burden.

Protecting Our Gaeltacht Communities The Gaeltacht regions are at risk of losing their future generations. We need to stop throwing money around hoping it sticks and start looking at real solutions to revive the Irish language for everyone who loves it. #Budget2025 #gaeltacht

I welcome tonight’s statement from the Ceann Comhairle and her acceptance of the position set out by Sinn Féin and the combined Opposition - you cannot be in government and opposition at the same time. This was a stroke too far on the back of a grubby deal and everyone knows

Big win for scoliosis patients! 👏🏼 Senator Nicole Ryan’s amendment to the Scoliosis Treatment Services Bill will improve waiting times and ensure accountability, so that no child is left to wait indefinitely. Every child deserves timely and adequate treatment.
