Productive two day visit to Egypt to meet with the authorities, the private sector, thought leaders and to take part in the IMF’s Inaugural Academic Conference for the Middle East and North Africa.

The IMF’s new Regional Training Program for South America and Mexico is tailored to meet the analytical and institutional capacity needs of the region. I am delighted to be in Paraguay to launch the program which is supported by Banco Central del Paraguay, and to meet some of the first graduates.
