On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we're reminded of the sacrifice of those that fought for our freedom. Including OS colleagues. 120 million maps were made for the Normandy Landings alone, and 342 million were produced for the entire war effort.

The National Underground Asset Register (NUAR) was launched in Northern Ireland earlier this year. It includes data from gas, electric, water and telecommunications companies. This is a big step towards the platform being fully operational by the end of 2025.
