Happy November! I've picked the last of the tomatoes in the unheated polytunnel, but the main garden beds will continue to produce root veggies and leafy greens for the next few months. What are you still enjoying from your garden?

2of3 If you see Sooty Mold (black crud) on the leaves/twigs, you probably have a scale (or some aphid relative) problem on your Magnolia. As soon as the leaves fall off, up until the weather warms in late March, you can apply dormant oil to control the problem.
