Takeaway message from 2️⃣ important RCTs published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology in the past 24 hours: ✴️ Patients interested in bariatric surgery should be advised to undergo Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. ✴️ When contraindicated or unfeasible, sleeve gastrectomy should be offered. 1/3
