#LEGO —but chemically. Connecting organic linkers with suitable metal nodes leads to the formation of tunable 3D metal-organic frameworks. As a PhD student in the The Ott Laboratory, I am working on the design of a MOF-based catalyst for light-driven CO2 reduction. #scicommUU21 #MOFs

Look into my eyes! #scicommUU21 #MOFs SEM image taken for a colleague from the The Ott Laboratory, showing an aggregation of larger UiO-67-based crystals on a homogeneous MOF thin film (leading to a visible contrast).

Together with colleagues from the The Ott Laboratory, I am currently working on a MOF-related review paper. I came across some very interesting work! #scicommUU21 #MOFs

I am really looking forward to the upcoming course "Visualize Your Science" this fall semester. Thanks for having me Visualize your Science (inactive account). #scicommUU21

Looking forward to lead the monthly meetings on sustainability issues in the SMC Program program. Continuous discussions and improvements in sustainability are becoming more and more important. #scicommUU21

The end of the #scicommUU21 course is already over a week ago. But I would like to thank Eva Garmendia and Hugo Gutiérrez de Terán again for organizing such an amazing course with so many interesting talks! I am looking forward to apply the learnt skills for future PhD tasks.

The efforts by SMC and others to do research more sustainably have been highlighted by Chemistry World of the Royal Society of Chemistry! Thank you Aisha Al-Janabi. A warm thanks to Martin Farley in the UK and @MilagreCintia in Brazil whose work was also covered. chemistryworld.com/careers/how-to…

The Vapor-Assisted Conversion (VAC) is a great way to make thin films of UiO-67 MOFs, but be aware of the water content! Advanced Article by Wanja, Brian and Nina Suremann SMC Program …mistry-europe.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ej…

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to first present my work in an oral communication during the Young Investigator Symposium and later in the Poster session during the EuroMOF 2023! It was a great experience!

Thank you very much Sascha (The Ott Laboratory) for the last five years!😀
