Nice discussion. I think Matt Spraker is referring to MGH data here – initially was mixed proton/photon due to scheduling (protons only available 4 days/week), also mixed improved skin sparing and conformality using IMRT. With PBS, treatment was 100% protons but that came later.

We recently activated NRG-GI011, also known as LAP100, a Phase III randomized controlled trial will assess the role of dose-escalated radiotherapy (target biologic effective dose of 100 Gy, hence LAP100) in locally advanced pancreatic cancer. ow.ly/zxSe50WqbCT Dr. Nina Niu Sanford

Genuine thank you to Dr. Nina Niu Sanford who has been willing to be a speaker in this morning/evening for Indonesian Radiation Oncology Society!!! Even though it's 2 a.m. in UK, it was really good to hear insights on ASCO 2025 updates. Hopefully this will not be a one time thing!

Dr. Nina Niu Sanford Should someone measure the carbon footprint of second opinions? 😁😁

I am not aware of any better speakers on the topic of GI radiation oncology than Krishan Jethwa. Everything just becomes crystal clear. This is why you want to attend Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center CME courses in heme/onc. Quality updates for practitioners. Mayo Clinic Hematology-Oncology Fellowship
