I need a massive favour - bit of help everyone. I'm trying to find a copy of a piece of legislation, The Lee Conservancy Catchment Board (New Functions of River Authorities) Order 1965. You don't happen to have a copy or know where I can find one? Big thanks in advance for any

Officials advise - Ministers decide but I am not sure I would be celebrating failing to convey the uncertainty around the tax revenue, the negative impact on the rural economy and farmers’ futures. In every fiscal event I was exposed to this option was laid on the table - we said

At #ProjectLamport we are excited about building productions systems that sustainably manage grass weeds while building healthy soils. Samples from plots below taken metres apart from a replicated trial in year 8 currently in winter wheat.

And we’re acting like farmers are a nuisance - mental Getting more carbon/SOM in our soils, encouraging more domestic production of key food groups, not least fruit and veg, and creating a resilient and fair food system should be near the top of our list of priorities

He said “it doesn’t surprise me that people use that language. That is the sort of language we persistently see from a certain set of people involved in politics for whom it’s all a personality thing, it’s all a game.”

Shop closures are accelerating, 17,350 forecast this year, 202,000 jobs at risk. That’s 47 shops & 550 jobs lost every day. In rural and seaside towns, those small businesses are most of the jobs. If you’re visiting this summer, shop local. Every £ spent supports a local family

Eighty-five trucks, loaded with more than 6,000 bales of hay and straw, have begun the trek across the Nullarbor, headed to drought-stricken parts of South Australia. The massive logistical exercise is expected to help 400 families. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Read all about it…again. This is the story that won’t go away for the government that forgot who they work for. Protect family businesses that drive our country. Stop the #FamilyFarmTax

Supporting rural communities, our rural economy and our rural way of life is so incredibly important. But too often it is under attack from politicians who don’t understand. Great to be at The Game Fair today championing and standing up for all who work within our countryside.

As a record number of farms shut in the wake of the Family Farm Tax National Farmers' Union President Tom Bradshaw says the pressure on elderly farmers is becoming acute, but ministers seem not to care.

As someone who has lived in the valley all my life, and watched things deteriorate, it’s awesome to see the wildlife increasing every year So many awesome farms doing great things for nature

If I published that water pollution levels are worse in Scotland than in England in the Guardian and used these data as justification, I’d probably have to correct it. Rivers and lakes in Scotland have lower pollution levels than England (not sure relevance of water meters here)

HMRC Awards James Mee – For Services to Undermining Farming? Farming families across the UK are baffled. HMRC has awarded James Mee – the man who pushed for scrapping Agricultural and Business Property Relief (APR & BPR). His proposals would make it near impossible to pass

At today's press conference, Bev Turner 🌸 asked President Trump how important farmers were to him amid the backdrop of the UK changes to inheritance taxes. Thank you for backing your farmers, Mr President. We need our government to do the same and #StopTheFamilyFarmTax.

Worth noting that the US does have inheritance tax but the limit is set at $15m per person or $30m per couple. America has many successful businesses that can be passed on. A £1m limit here is way too low!
