T3: Howard strands runners on second and third as Noah Murdock painted the outside corner and struck out Brennan Giangrasso. Lions are struggling with runners in scoring position so far. 1-0 Lightning heading into the bottom of the third.

T4: Noah Murdock tosses a fourth straight scoreless inning and Long Reach remains on top 3-0.

T5: Noah Murdock continues to deal with his multi-strikeout inning of the afternoon. 4-0 Long Reach heading into the bottom of the fifth.

T6: Howard gets two runners on to start the sixth and Noah Murdock’s afternoon is done. Murdock with an excellent five innings of work as Nathan Smith has come on in relief.

Final: Long Reach defeats Howard 11-1 and advances to 8-4 on the year. RJ Samuels hit a three-run homer that hit the top of the fence and out to end it. Lightning with seven runs in the final two innings to shut the door on this one.
