The Feathers, Great Yarmouth. Two mainstream cask ales on. Craft Union pub down a small side street on it's own, but very close to the central bus depot. TV screens for the sport.

The Kings Arms, Great Yarmouth. Lacons beer also from the town available. Large open plan venue, impressive exterior. There has been a pub on the site since the 16th Century. Called last orders quite early on our visits!

The Green Bear, Gorleston, south of Great Yarmouth. Two roomed, the back room appeared to be much larger. Community focus,no cask, packed with a quiz on during our visit. Used to be a social club which explains the community feel.

The Feathers, Gorleston. Thought to be one of the oldest pubs in town. Now a Craft Union pub, with cask, very well kept. Large TV screens for the sport. Very well managed we felt, with efficient service. Two rooms either side of a central entrance.

The William Adams. Gorleston. Very modern looking on what is a traditional looking street. Usual fare, but we felt a very appealing and fresh looking Spoons.

The Dock Tavern, final pub Gorleston, unassuming, tucked away but only a short walk from the centre. Bespoke Dock Tavern bitter, open plan. Photos of historic boats adorn the walls. A real local feel about the pub and our favourite in town.

The Castle 📍54 Pentonville Rd, London N1 9HF A former Charrington’s pub with a smart, stylish interior — it’s a must-stop on the Monopoly pub crawl and famously known as the spot where the 2015 Hatton Garden Heist was planned. #castle

Beer on the pier! And it's the last one for us this year, Clacton. To the right at the pier entrance is quite a large bar, The Boardwalk, including outdoor areas. Once again no cask, we've rarely seen it on 9 we've visited sadly this time.

It's Jaywick, and The Three Jays, as featured recently on national news in a piece about the squeeze on disposable income. Bustling on our visit, and clearly an exceptionally well run pub, something intangible but we find obvious when you see it. A screen advertises events etc.

Wetherspoons, Clacton. Usual fare, very busy on a weekend. Extensive outdoor terrace and in an imposing position in the town, opposite the pier. The Moon & Starfish.

The Locks Inn,on the River Waveney, south west of Norwich. Our final pub in this area. Community pub, idyllic rural location, reached on foot for the last quarter mile. Took a while to find, but superb on a relaxed summer evening.

Pub of the past. The former Victorian built Commercial, on the way to Old Trafford cricket ground. It had several other names before closure some years back, and in latter days we recall it being rather dire, but it remains one of the top iconic buildings on the road.

The King's Head (Low House) Laxfield, #Suffolk 🍻 Unspoilt village pub featuring a most remarkable public bar, unchanged for 150 years, and also one of only six traditional pubs in the #UK with no bar counter. 16th-Century Free House Bought from Adnams in May 2018 by a small CIC.
