I just want to say thank you to everyone that came out and listened to my Cover Crop presentation yesterday at the Irrigation Conference. I know I ran out of time for questions so if you have any feel free to send me a DM and I’ll do my best to answer them 😊

Things have finally dried up and we are finally going again on the last potato field! Hopefully with the warm weather we are having things will pop out of the ground quickly 🌱 📷: Adam Voss #plant2024 #albertapotatoes

Some nice looking canola popping through our barley cover crop! This year we had to spray out the barley with a separate pass just after planting because I was worried it would take off with all the rain we’ve been having

Potatoes, wheat, barley, and canola - Alberta has it all, and the world wants more of it! Great to spend some time with folks from Alberta’s crop sector this morning. Thanks to Roy and Robin Newman for hosting us.

Alberta is home to a wide range of crops and dedicated farmers who take a lot of pride in growing some of the best in the world. Thanks to Devin Hartzler for opening up his gates to me and folks from across the province's crop sector for a really good conversation this morning.
