Morning all. Yesterday was a dark day for the UK 2 fold. The most heinous crime against little kids since Dunblane happened and the right wing disgraced this country by making it solely about their agenda. No thought for the families whatsoever.

The rampant racism about asylum seekers is clouding the bigger issue that someone born and educated here can end up acting in such a way, with such devastating consequences in #Southport. Those children have been failed by those authorities whose job it is to protect them.

After the horrific events in Southport, I am sure that one thing we can all agree on is that security needs to be tighter in any place where vulnerable people are in attendance. My daughter's school is impossible to get into and yet after school activities held elsewhere aren't!
