Fun times at ISIS Neutron and Muon Source firing neutrons at lipid nanoparticles 💉💊! Also great to see the eBIC facility and our preliminary data and the lovely Claire Pizzey who is collecting SAXS data for the project! Thanks Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research and Science and Technology Facilities Council for funding!

Super exciting! And check this out for more on this awesome topic (& Markus Deserno talk) and an amazing line up of speakers all round 🙂 - rsc.org/events/detail/…

Good times with panel 2 (the best Diamond Light Source panel!) yesterday after a long day of reviewing! What do we do? We drink and scatter apparently!

Check out our "recent" work using cubosomes to actively target cancer cells. Many thanks for the highlight Diamond Light Source! We love firing x-rays at our lipid nanoparticles!

Congratulations Mostafa! Mostafa is a joint EPSRC CDT Future Fluid Dynamics & Diamond Light Source Nick Terrill student developing microfluidic technologies which we very much hope to democratise the use of! Proud supervisor!

Massive congratulations to twiterless and newly minted Dr Iain! Tom Bennett and I are very proud supervisors! Also massive thanks to his amazing examiners Benitez-Alfonso lab and Nick Brooks!

We are hiring a PhD The University of Edinburgh School of Engineering to work on the bottom-up design and construction of synthetic cells using #microfluidics and #lipid membranes. Lab is based at the Institute for Bioengineering. #synbio eng.ed.ac.uk/studying/degre… Please RT!

Super happy this is finally out! Fantastic work from my first PhD student Zexi Xu 徐泽禧 and great collaboration with the Paul Beales
