What a wonderful day full of celebrating the last few years!! Massive thank you to Surbhi Grewal for being the best supervisor I could have for my PhD. And Laura Dixon and Erik Murchie for such a wonderful viva experience. & of course, the awesome Wheat_ResearchCentre for their support! #PhDone

Throwback to my presentation at the #IWC2024Perth Pre-Congress Workshop on identifying wild relative introgressions in wheat varieties. It was a great meeting with lots of opportunities to network and collaborate. A job well done by Rajeev Varshney FRS and Murdoch's Centre for Crop & Food Innovation & SABC

Pleased to host Ash_g from IBERS - Aber this week at the Wheat_ResearchCentre. Good discussions on data analysis and future collaboration opportunities. Thanks to Monogram Network ECR travel award.

Having a great time at the International workshop on wheat and barley research at Leibniz IPK with participants from UK Wheat_ResearchCentre James Hutton Institute, Germany, China, Japan and Australia Murdoch's Centre for Crop & Food Innovation & SABC

Great talks and lots of good opportunities for networking and collaboration. Very grateful to The British Academy for funding this very fruitful trip to Leibniz IPK and looking forward to visiting new friends in China! #Quedlinburg

Nottingham Wheat Research Centre pays tribute to Dr George Fedak (1940-2025). A distinguished scientist AAFC Canada, Dr Fedak made invaluable contributions to wheat research and resistance breeding with his use of wheat wild relative species. May he rest in peace.

Looking forward to my visit John Innes Centre today. If you're around pop in for the seminar I'm giving this afternoon.
