In recognition of International Women’s Day, Urban Ahlin, Ambassador of Sweden to USA hosted a discussion for survivors, law enforcement, government officials & experts to discuss strategies to end prostitution & sexual exploitation! They discussed legislation & different models that can help survivors!


Today and everyday, OVSJG observes Second Chance Month to raise awareness about the challenges faced and triumphs of DC returning citizens and to highlight District investments of Mayor Muriel Bowser into reentry programs and opportunities we are proud to fund.



In observation of Second Chance Month, OVSJG grantee, Catholic Charities DC in partnership with the Public Defender Services hosted a record expungement clinic at the Mulumba House, a transitional housing program OVSJG is proud to fund. #SecondChanceMonth2025 #secondchances
