The presentations at the UofG JMS PhD conference by the JMS Scholars have been phenomenal, and I feel so privileged to have met some of them last year at the start of their journey.

We are delighted and honoured to hear from scholar, Emeritus Professor and human rights activist Sir Geoff Palmer as part of day 2 of the JMS Annual Conference.

Caitlin’s PhD will explore collaborative projects, workshops, exhibitions, interventions and public events undertaken by Scottish museums in recent years that engage with Scotland’s historical links to chattel slavery, wider colonial past and contemporary legacies of this.
