Just received my feedback from the Nursing Times awards - over the moon with it. Motivated to go again in 2025! The winner of my category was incredible, an amazing project around neurodiversity which I’m very passionate about, well deserved winner! 🙌🏻✨ #NTAwards

This one got me 🥹 - One of the consultants, messaged me this after I finished reviews. The most kind words, mean more then anything when you’re a nurse.

🥹 - whilst sat in a&e with my dad for 12 hours, I helped a young lady who’s dad was very unwell for pretty much the whole time, Visited my dad today and the lady had found him and handed him this 🥹 Really touching and such a kind gesture Kindness rewards kindness ❤️

Can finally say! That as of April, I will be leaving Chorley 😫 and starting my new band 6 role as the, Practice Facilitor for the Culture of Care programme for the trust! Thank you to everyone at Chorley who has supported me this far , couldn’t have done it without you all 💙

Fantastic day in Newcastle for my first Culture of Care network event … Really nice way of preparing me to go into my new role and was nice meeting some of the teams I’ll be supporting, Really motivating and exciting seeing what’s been achieved so far!

Today we said goodbye to our fabulous student Sophie.who created our recovery and hope tree on the ward Skylark.the ladies love it 😀 ❤️ 💙

Woke up to some lovely feedback from a service users mother, It’s little things like this that reminds me, why we do what we do, and the impact we can have as nurses, HCAs, health professionals .. Sometimes what seems small to us, is massive to those who it effects 🫶🏼

✨ What a team ✨ Leaving a team, this kind, this loving and this generous… speaks volumes of the people that work there. The kindest hearts looking after those who need it 🫶🏼 I’m the lucky one to have you all as friends and to learn from, Goodbye Team Worden 💙💪🏼 always!

Just over a week in my new role - I can’t explain the feeling of working within a project that aligns so much with what I genuinely care about and love advocating for. Not one day has felt like ‘work’ yet. Being so welcomed by the teams and wards has been heart warming 💙
