Today, the 11th African Federation of Institutes of Internal Auditors Conference #AFIIA2025, officially opened in #Kigali, #Rwanda, bringing together more than 1,000 auditors from more than 20 African countries. The 3-day gathering is themed “Building Bridges, Inspiring Change".

The three-day conference is hosted by the Institute of Internal Auditors (@IIARwanda), in collaboration with the African Federation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (AFIIA_AFRICA), the continental body of Institutes of Internal Auditors. #AFIIA2025 #AFIIARwanda2025.

The Auditor General, alexis kamuhire, received Mr. Modou Ceesay, Auditor General of the Gambia, and his delegation on a courtesy visit. They discussed strengthening collaboration between OAG Rwanda and National Audit Office, The Gambia in audit methodologies and practices.
