I want to extend my condolences to the families and friends of Emmanuel Familola and Matt Sibanda who drowned yesterday off the coast of Buncrana. It was a terrible tragedy.

🇮🇪 Ten years ago, Ireland made history — becoming the first country to legalise marriage equality by popular vote. A decade of marriage equality marks a proud milestone in our democracy. Fianna Fáil is proud to commemorate this anniversary. Stronger together, then & now. 🏳️‍🌈

I’m getting regular updates from the Gardaí in respect of the shooting incident in Carlow. I understand Gardaí have the situation under control and the area is now safe. We must now allow the Gardaí to investigate this matter fully.
