Mrs. Dennison and Ms. Carpenter’s kinder classes read “How to catch a leprechaun” and designed a “trap” to catch the leprechaun. Students arrived today to discover that the leprechaun had visited, but he got away!!🍀

The 6th grade Leading Ladies enjoyed a great trip to St. Louis last week. They visited the Gateway Arch, St. Louis Art Museum, the zoo, City Museum, and a dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory! Thank you to all those who sponsored them to help make this trip possible.

Today is Bus Driver Appreciation Day We love our amazing Bus Drivers! Thank you for safely transporting our precious students each day. 🚌❤️

Mrs. Dennison and Mrs. Gardner visited the Preschool Center to meet next year's incoming kindergarteners. Mrs. Dennison read them a book and led a discussion on their feelings about the transition. We look forward to welcoming these new students.

Our students had an amazing experience at STLP 25 state competition. Even though we didn’t place, we learned a lot and are ready for next year.

Students in Mrs. B. Vincent’s class have spent the last month observing the life cycle of a chicken. Eggs were donated by a community member and students candled them and made predictions on which ones would develop into chicks. After 21 days in the incubator six chicks hatched!

Third grade students who mastered their multiplication facts 0-12 were rewarded with a trip to Jump Air Zone today! We are super proud of these Cardinals for this big accomplishment!

Today, we made a big announcement and celebrated becoming one of only 800 schools world-wide to become a Lighthouse School! Our staff and students worked so hard all year for this accomplishment. We are so proud of everyone. 🎉

Congratulations to Mrs Kim Lilla on her retirement. She has been a dedicated teacher and a friend to everyone. We will miss her! Best wishes Mrs Lilla and enjoy your retirement.
