Children are the most vulnerable members of society, and yet, they suffer the most at the hands of people that are meant to nurture, protect and care for them. The Launching of the national helpline 1️⃣ 9️⃣ 9️⃣ by Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare is very timely.

As a champion for causes affecting children, I would continue my support to endure that children in #Gambia and within the subregion are safe, and their rights guaranteed. I would like to thank Sandra Lattouf of UNICEF The Gambia for the relentless support to Gambian children.
