The North ties it up 1-1 with a run in the bottom of the fifth, plated by Sunset's Gabriel Coltman on a sacrifice fly.

North wins it in a (HR Derby) walk-off by Gabriel Coltman of Sunset, breaking a 9-inning 1-1 tie. Great effort and play by both the North and South in crummy weather conditions.

Pitching ruled the day at the Series opener. South starter Alex Via of Summit, a Portland Pilots Baseball commit, tossed three scoreless innings and struck out five as the South tied the North, 1-1. Max Bishop of La Salle twirled 3 innings of scoreless relief for the North.

After 7 complete, the South picks up another run and leads the North, 9-4. Jace McGowan of Grants Pass tripled and scored on a sac fly by Connor Parry of Sherwood HS.
