Weird how the US policy of imposing zero consequences for anything the Israeli government does only seems to produce worse and worse behavior.

The majority of states offer some form of Same Day Registration & Election Day Registration. If only New Jersey would join the majority on this key voter protection mechanism. #VotingRights #YouthVote

Even more offensive given that the “semester” is just something the admin made up. The law requires suspending military aid as soon as they are aware that humanitarian aid is being restricted, which they clearly are. The 30 days is just a way to continue not to enforce the law.

95% of our members voted to strike because we want fair pay, just cause, and flexible remote work, and The New York Times refused to make a deal. Management spin doesn't matter though—worker power does.

BREAKING: Boeing workers just voted to end their strike and approve a new contract, 59%-41%. After 7 weeks on strike, IAM Union District 751 won an exponentially better deal than Boeing's original offer. It includes a 38% pay raise over four years, a $12k bonus, and 8% match on a 401(k).

ELECTION DAY STRIKE: We are back out on the picket line today. We know this is a hard day to be on strike for our members but we want to be clear: We are here because of the decisions of @NYTimes management.

Today is Election Day! Remember: ⭐️You have the right to bring an interpreter ⭐️You don't need ID unless it's your first time voting! ⭐️You are not required to rush, the law permits a "reasonable" time to read your ballot & cast your vote.

You know what would be great right now? Strong state-level protections for voting rights and immigrant communities. NJ legislators, please don't risk more delay. Pass the John R. Lewis Voter Empowerment Act and the Immigrant Trust Act.

When we talk about "working class" residents and taxes, let's be real about the rates folks pay. Describing NJ as a "high-tax" state ignores that working-class NJans pay *less* in taxes because of our progressive system. Compare NJ with "low-tax" Arkansas
