Yesterday, AS PE students visited University of Huddersfield to reinforce physiology content studied in their first year. They attended workshops delivered by university Sport Science lecturers in their labs, toured the facilities and gained an insight into the degree courses on offer.

On Monday, students attended an Economics Taster Day at Manchester Metropolitan Uni where they explored what studying Economics at university involves. A highlight, was a session on behavioural economics offering a valuable insight into how decisions are made & the significance for economists.

Year 12 Geology students recently attended an engaging Palaeontology Workshop at The University of Manchester. The workshop included hands-on fossil handling, interactive sessions with university researchers, and insights into the methods palaeontologists use to study prehistoric environments.
