❗️❕New publication by our own Dr. Megan Wilson on otolith microstructure in Cabezon (Scorpaenichthys marmoratus) onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/jf…

❗️New lab paper out in ICES Journal of Marine Science from lab alumna Kelsey Swieca, PhD academic.oup.com/icesjms/advanc…

Earlier this week, Plankton Ecology Lab graduate student Elena Conser (she/her) teamed up with Oregon Sea Grant STEM-at-sea to collect recently metamorphosed English sole for her dissertation research, with the help of high school students from Newport and Sheridan schools.

New lab paper published! A new take on an older coral reef fish data set! In this collaborative effort, “terrestrial” modelers re-analyzed an older field dataset to provide insight into how juvenile coral reef fish behavior influences their early survival. frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

We had a blast at OSU Hatfield Marine Science Day, sharing all about plankton and sampling technologies with visitors!
