Island Park, Wichita, KS, June 21, 1925 - This tiny ballpark is mostly obscure to even the most knowledgeable baseball fan, but 100 years ago on this date it might have been the host to one of the most unimaginable matchup of two teams one could contrive – a squad of Ku Klux Klan

Ebbets Field, Brooklyn, June 23, 1956 - Reds starter Hal Jeffcoat seems to give out a yell pitching to Rocky Nelson of Dodgers. The former outfielder struggled giving up 3 Dodgers home runs but did leave game in 9th up 6-4 only to see his bullpen blow the save and game losing 7-6

Chicago, Ill, ca 1945 - You might take a quick glance at this photo of a Rock Island diesel train chugging through an old Windy City neighborhood and wonder what does it have to do with baseball, but then you'll look in the distance and see Comiskey Park looming large
